Bruce Sutter is a former professional baseball player and a highly regarded relief pitcher. He played for several teams during his career, including the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals. Sutter was known for his devastating split-finger fastball and was one of the pioneers of the pitch. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2006.
